What is J league ?

The true name of J. League is Japan Professional Football League.

A sponsoring body is JFA.

The pro soccer club of 40 in Japan has joined now.

18 clubs belong to J1 and 22 clubs belong to J2. 

The predecessor of J. League was JSL. 

It was sounded about Japanese holding of  FIFA World Cup to Japan Football Association from the João Havelange who was the 7th chairman of FIFA late in the 1980s.

The pro league concept was promoted from this. 

And inauguration of the pro soccer league which carries out and becomes the first in Japan was determined formally.

10 teams which will join in J. League in 1990 were announced, and, in addition, Mr. Saburo Kawabuchi was inaugurated as the chairman of J. League

These 10 teams are called "the original 10." 

The original 10 are Kashima Antlers,JEF United Ichihara Chiba,Urawa Red Diamonds,Tokyo Verdy 1969,Yokohama F・Marinos,Yokohama Flügels,Shimizu S-Pulse,Nagoya Grampus,Gamba Osaka,Sanfrecce Hiroshima.

Saburo　Kawabuchi  is a former Japanese soccer representation supervisor, and is the Japan Football Association supreme advisor now. 

And the logo mark of J. League is decided.

JSL was abolished on March 29, 1992.

The league match with first J. League was held in 1993. Tokyo Verdy 1969 won the victory in the degree of J. League first year.

Shonan Bellmare and Júbilo Iwata joined in J. League in 1994.

Incidentally 1994 are a  year to which I was born.

J. League became 12 teams those days.

Cerezo Osaka and Kashiwa Reysol joined J. League in 1995.

J. League became 14 teams those days.

Tokyo Verdy 1969  won the victory in J. League in 1995.

It was not the Kashiwa Reysol though it was regrettable.

Avispa Fukuoka and Kyoto Sanga FC joined J. League in 1996.

The team which has participated in J. League turned into 18 teams in 1998.

It separated to J1 and J2 in 1999, and became a two-copy system.

16 teams belonged to J1and 10 teams belonged to J2.

Although there were many teams which join in J. League after that, it did not change institutionally.

The game of J1.J2 is fundamentally divided and held in two days, Saturday and Sunday, every week.

Although the game held on Saturday and Sunday is a day game fundamentally, even a night game may be performed in the form where the holding time and the live telecast of a game are considered.

A game may be held on Wednesday by a schedule.

The team which has won the victory in J1 most is Kashima Antlers, and won the victory 7 times.

Since Kashima Antlers won the victory in the Emperor's Cup 4 times, it has a track record compared with other clubs.

Compared with the 20th year and the Europe league, J. League's history is still short by the end of this year.

Thus, J. League is a league as which progress is regarded still more.

Also in order for the representative of Japan to become strong, evolution of J. League is indispensable.
